Samsung Galaxy S23 series: Everything we know so far

Samsung Galaxy S23 series: Everything we know so far Will there be a Samsung Galaxy S23 series? The Galaxy S line is Samsung’s most popular premium smartphone series. It is inevitable that the company would launch a new entry in the series, just as it has done every year since 2010.  Of course, Samsung has thrown curveballs in the past in relation to the names of the phones. For instance, we skipped from the Galaxy S10 series to the Galaxy S20 series. However, Samsung did this mainly to align the name of the phone with the year in which it was released. Therefore, it’s nearly certain the new Galaxy S line would be known as the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Samsung continues to be the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer. A huge reason for its astonishing success is the popularity of its Galaxy S line. Over the years, the Galaxy S line has become synonymous with Android, being some of the most well-known and most revered devices in the market. In 2023, we expect that to continue with th

ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold (UX9702) review: Unfolding an incredibly versatile laptop

Asus has launched the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED laptop in India after unveiling it earlier this year at CES 2022. The laptop features a foldable 17.3-inch OLED display. In its folded state, the laptop screen measures 12.5-inches but can be unfolded into a large 17.3-inch display for things like media consumption and gaming. It also features Asus ErgoSense Bluetooth Keyboard and Touchpad as well as Asus Adaptive Lock.

ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED pricing & availability

In India, the price of the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is a staggering Rs 3,299,90 ($4,036). The laptop may be purchased online via the Asus e-shop, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and Brand Stores such as Asus Exclusive Stores, ROG Stores, and other Asus approved dealers.

The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED boasts a 17.3-inch foldable OLED display with a maximum brightness of 500 nits, a 4:3 aspect ratio, and a 2560 x 1920 pixel resolution. The rear kickstand allows the screen to stand on its own when it is unfolded. It can therefore serve as a monitor. When connected to a Bluetooth keyboard, it can carry out desktop PC functions.

There are several ways to fold the screen. When using it in laptop mode, it has a 12.5-inch screen with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It also comes with a physical keyboard which can be placed on top of the folded part to make the device function like a traditional laptop. Software-wise, the device comes pre-loaded with Windows 11.

A 12th generation Intel i7-1250U processor, Iris Xe graphics, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD are all included in the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED. The gadget’s internal 4-cell battery enables it to run for up to 9.5 hours. Charger power for the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is 65W. It weighs 1.5kg in total.

The ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold is a stunning device. The laptop is essentially split into two screens joined together at the hinge. A leatherette material wraps around the Zenbook 17 Fold, and the rear of the two sections has a different finish. What could be considered the base of the device has a usual Zenbook metallic finish, whereas the top lid has an almost glossy effect that produces what looks like underwater light rays.

The left side has a grill and two small feet that aid the Zenbook 17 Fold to stand as a 17-inch display come all-in-one PC. The top front side has one of two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three grills, and volume controls. The bottom front side has a large grill. Finally, the right side houses the power button (with LED), battery indicator light, second Thunderbolt 4 port, and a single 3.5mm audio jack.

Opening the Zenbook 17 Fold takes considerable effort, and there's no lip to aid this process. I found the easiest way to do so is to remember that this isn't a traditional laptop. Prying it apart top down makes it possible to do it easily and reliably. Once open, you've got the full 4:3 17-inch display in laptop mode. The 5MP webcam (with IR support) is located up top and the included keyboard can be attached to the bottom half of the display.
